The Croft Primary School receives the pupil premium and sport premium from the government. This funding is granted to the school in order to support those children who are entitled to free school meals or who in the last six years have had entitlement to free school meals. Here is the outlay of the pupil and sport premium spending for our school, together with the impact we feel it will have on the children.

Pupil Premium

The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England. It’s designed to help disadvantaged pupils of all abilities perform better, and close the gap between them and their peers.

Sport Premium

Schools receive PE and sport premium funding based on the number of pupils in years 1 to 6. In cases where schools don’t follow year groups (for example, in some special schools), pupils aged 5 to 10 attract the funding.
